Weapons with innate Status damage apply their status only, on average, every three hits. Bowguns with Status shots, Bows with Status Phials, and KO and Exhaust Damage not from SA Exhaust Phial do not follow this rule, and apply their status 100% of the time.

How To Use
Yet Another Damage Calculator Unite (YADCU) is a combination database and calculator, designed to make damage calculation and comparison easier. Please take the calculations made here with a grain of salt, as it's hard to guarantee 100% accuracy when all you have are 75 stones and an Aptonoth for testing.

Standard Calculation

Step 1) Select a Weapon from the Weapon tab, or fill the stats in yourself. Select your weapon type from the Search fields, and click on one of the table's rows to fill in the fields with that info.
Step 2) Select a Move from the Moves tab. This works similarly to the Weapon tab, where you can click on the table row to fill in the fields, or you can fill them in yourself.
Step 3) Select the currently active modifiers. Note that this is different from the armor skills in two ways. The first is that only damage-related skills are considered, so things like Razor Sharp or Recoil Down +1 won't exist in the modifier list. The second is that it's the armor skills which are active at the time of damage calculation. Weakness Exploit, for example, shouldn't active on hitzones of 45 or below (though the calculator won't stop you from putting that in).
Step 4) Select the Monster stats from the Monster tab. Click on the Monster Search table's rows to fill in the hitzone and quest data with the appropriate info, then click on those tables' rows to fill in the fields.
Step 5) If you have the fields filled out, click the "Update Parameters" button in the Calculate tab. This will fill in the fields with the correct info. Once you're ready, you can then click on either the "Calculate Output" button, for calculating your damage output, or the "Calculate All" button, to calculate your actual damage.
Scroll down the left side of the Weapon section. You'll find a little prompt down there that'll ask you your forte and damage type. Select that after you've chosen your weapon to get the total attack power. Also, make sure to switch to the correct damage type for both weapon and move, depending on which weapon type you're using. Note that the stats added are max level stats, so adjust based on your own Prowler's current stats, and also remember to select your weapon first.

Switching Games

Did you know that you can switch games, changing the dataset and behavior of certain tabs? Go to the Options tab and mess around in there. There's a lot of helpful stuff there.

Status

Step 1) You can click Update after performing the standard four steps, or you can fill in the fields yourself.
Step 2) Depending on your choices, the thresholds, hitzone values, and modifiers will automatically fill in by themselves, even if you switch to another Status.
Step 3) Either click "Calculate Status Output" for your potential output, or "Calculate Status Damage" for the amount of hits that it will take to inflict the status.

--Overall, about ~900 lines of code were added to the html code, accounting for an overall ~45% increase in code size.
* Fixed elemental modifiers for Dual Blades.
* Fixed an issue that would incorrectly not use the Awoken element when converting.
* Added the DB Innate Elemental Modifier to 3U's skillset.
* Added stagger calculations for all games, and data for GU. Note: display fields were not added for Calculator output, Combo, nor Compare tabs. Combo tabs will also not show the hit count needed to stagger monsters. Furthermore, copy and paste functions do not support this.
* Rewrite of some backend portions.
* Added the Farming Tab, so you can cry at the chances of you getting a Lrg Elder Dragon Gem. Hint: it's never. (Only GU is supported at the moment)

April 4th Misc Fixes:
(THIS FIX MAY CHANGE SOME CALCULATIONS)
* Fixed an oversight where Chaotic Gore weapons would have their affinity swapped.
* Fixed a bug where Chaotic Gore weapons would deal an unexpected amount of damage when calculating a Combo.
* Fixed an oversight where stacking "Critical Draw" with any other affinity-adding skills would incorrectly add just 100 Affinity.

March 18th Bitter Affinity Fix:
(THIS FIX MAY CHANGE SOME CALCULATIONS)
* Fixed a critical oversight where negative affinity would positively impact your average damage.
* Fixed an oversight where Bitter Affinity would not calculate correctly.

March 1st Style Fix:
* Fixed a bug where the Secondary Element and Secondary Element Damage would not correctly match the style.

February 19th Swarm Fix:
* Changed Swarm from Cut MV to Fixed MV as per recent discoveries.

February 3rd Quickfix:
* Added Attack Hone to 4U's modifier set. Sorry 4U players!

January 28th Demon Aff S Fixes:
* Fixed various oversights regarding Demon S and Demon Aff S.
* Critical Distance modifiers now cannot be applied to non-Shot-type damage.

October 26th Bugfix:
* Fixed an oversight that would not correctly set the game if you switched the game from the Options tab.
* Fixed the descriptions of Artillery and related skills that affected Fixed Damage. (Calculations should still hold)

October 3rd Bugfix:
* Fixed an oversight that would remove an SA's element if "SA Sword Mode" was used.

August 25th Modification:
* Clarified that Groups C and D of the Attack Stacking List were combined in 4U and 3U.
